Over 200 Bathrooms Upgraded During Campus Breaks

The Problem

Tile floors, walls, showers and pans in residence hall bathrooms at the University of Pennsylvania had become impossible to clean. The school needed an affordable solution, without disruption to students. School officials asked Miracle Method to do a demonstration in one bathroom. Impressed with the results, they approved work in 200 additional bathrooms.

The Miracle Method Solution

Over the following winter and summer breaks, Miracle Method proceeded to repair, refinish and completely seal the surfaces in the bathrooms to inhibit the growth of mold and mildew. The tile floors and walls were refinished using complimentary color choices from Miracle Method’s Natural Accents® stone-look finish line. The refinishing process gave the outdated tile floors, walls, showers and pans a clean, modern appearance.

Repairing & Revitalizing Outdated Community Restrooms

The Problem

Constructed in 1961, the restrooms in Friend Hall at Potomac State College were outdated, impossible to clean, and unattractive to students and parents. Plagued with cracked terrazzo floors, aging shower pans and bathroom stall partitions, the Facility Director sought an affordable and time effective solution to create a better environment for student.

Miracle Method technicians repaired all damaged surfaces, including broken tile and moldy grout. Our Natural Accents® finishes were applied to dramatically upgrade the look, and our antimicrobial clear coat was used to help inhibit bacterial growth. The result was beautiful, easier to maintain surfaces, completed in just four days for a fraction of the cost and time of replacement.

Modernizing Locker Rooms in the Cook Douglas Recreation Center

The Problem

After forty years of service, the tile surfaces in the Cook Douglas Recreation Center at Rutgers had become damaged, impossible to clean and unattractive to its users. These surfaces included the showers and floors throughout the locker rooms. The school was seeking an affordable and time-effective solution to create a more appealing environment.

In just four days over the winter break, Miracle Method completely repaired and refinished the damaged surfaces, and applied our Natural Accents® stone-look color to create a completely sealed surface that was more attractive and easier to maintain.
